Tahmina Hafiz Lisa

Tahmina Hafiz Lisa is a contemporary visual artist from Bangladesh, born in 1979. She makes conceptual work drawn from her own experience and perception and is attentive to nature and to life at several registers at once: relational, socio-political, spiritual and cultural. Through observation and analysis she shapes her work and moves between media to find different aesthetic possibilities. Lisa holds both a BFA and an MFA in Drawing and Painting from the Institute of Fine Art, University of Dhaka. She has taken part in international exhibitions, residencies and workshops, and has won awards for her work.
