Marzia Farhana

Marzia Farhana is a visual artist, educator and researcher whose interdisciplinary practice combines installation, painting, printmaking, collage, found objects, text and moving image. Her work investigates embodied experience, speculative futures and collaborative forms of knowledge production, creating multimedia environments that invite critical reflection on social, political and ecological relationships.
Community engagement and pedagogy are central to her practice. Through projects such as Equilibrium Project, she collaborates with students and communities across Bangladesh to explore dialogue, critical thinking and collective imagination. Her work has been presented internationally at institutions and exhibitions including the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, Dhaka Art Summit, MACBA, Kathmandu Triennale and India Art Fair. She is currently pursuing a PhD in the United States, where her research explores postcolonial, posthuman and decolonial approaches to art and pedagogy.
