Partha Sarathi Sen Gupta

Partha Sarathi Sen Gupta is a Bangladesh-based interdisciplinary artist working where memory, bodily vulnerability and environmental crisis meet. Across moving image, installation and photography he builds intimate counter-archives, turning personal and found material into accounts of resilience and care. He began with a Bachelor of Fashion Design (2007) from Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology, Dhaka. His short film Isolation (2023) was nominated for Germany's Eisvogel Prize for Sustainable Film Production, and The Story of Monsters and Captive Women (2024) was nominated at the 6th Hill Film Festival. His installation Goodbye Dhaka showed in Dhaka and Bengaluru, and his video work Wheels of Colour showed at the Indian Museum, Kolkata, in 2025. His feature project Embracing Fatherhood has been developed through Dhaka Doc Lab, Dhaka Impact Lab, CPA Bengaluru and Young Film Talents Bangladesh. He sits on the Film Preview Committee of Liberation Docfest Bangladesh and was text editor for Witness to the Uprising (2025). He is currently curating Where Is My Breathing Space? (2026), a year-long programme at Shala Neighbourhood Art Space, Dhaka, on air pollution and its effect on the body.
