Kauser Haider

Kauser Haider is a visual practitioner, documentary photographer and filmmaker based in Bangladesh, a graduate of Pathshala South Asian Media Institute. He works with very personal, private subjects close to himself, using the lens to connect his inner and outer worlds. He works across image, video, cinema posters, archival image, multiple exposure and limited-edition artist books. Completed projects include a story on disabled children in Nepal and A Hall Full of Cinema, shown at photo festivals in Angkor, Singapore and Delhi, and at Chobi Mela 2021. He has taken part in filmmaking labs including Dhaka DocLab, the Edinburgh Pitch, Docedge Kolkata and FIFDH in Switzerland. His feature documentary Ghost Boat is in post-production with support from the Berlinale World Cinema Fund. He is a freelance teacher and a founding member of the Bisubo art organisation and Mastul Productions in Chattogram.
