Sajib Sen

Sajib Sen is a visual artist whose interdisciplinary practice moves between drawing, painting and conceptual work. He completed a BFA and MFA in Drawing and Painting at the University of Chittagong. His work reflects on lived experience, memory and displacement, and he often treats art as a poetic extension of everyday life. His first solo exhibition, Exile Story (2019), at Kalakendra Art Gallery in Dhaka, explored belonging, separation and the psychological terrain of migration and identity. He also writes; his book Babar Posha Dragon was published in 2022 by Panjeree Publication. He has taken part in national and international group exhibitions, including Shadow and Signal in November 2025, organised by Sannoy Bangladesh, a feminist, human rights and digital rights organisation. His work has received the Grand Award from the International Sculpture Network, Germany (2017), and the Academy Grand Award from the University of Chittagong (2018).
